At April Showers Florist, we believe every couple deserves to have a celebration as unique as they are. From soft, romantic blooms to bold, modern designs, we create floral arrangements that reflect your personal style and aesthetic. Our biggest goal is bringing YOUR wedding vision to life.

Whether you come to us with a clear vision or a Pinterest board full of different ideas, we’ll guide you with care and creativity. We never rush the process . Our goal is to create an experience where you feel heard, supported, and inspired every step of the way. With us, your flowers won’t just be beautiful, they’ll be uniquely yours.
Our Story.
In 2015, Rachael decided to open her own flower shop dedicated to weddings and events after being unhappy with the customer service provided to clients in the 5+ years she worked under others in the industry. Starting as a teen in floral design classes in high school Rachael grew a passion for floral design and created a dream she never thought would come true. In December 2011 she received her BS in Horticulture from Stephen F. Austin State University. After working for other florists, a floral wholesaler, and an event planner Rachael decided to go out on her own.

In August 2015 a very trusting and kind couple decided to hire her for their wedding and she never stopped up after that. After several years of earning a BS in Nursing and working as an RN in the SETx area, Rachael started getting enough business to support the shop on her own. In 2022 she committed to the shop full time and has started a new goal of becoming the one stop shop for all things floral and decor! We can't wait to see what the future holds!
The ASF Team.
We're a small but mighty team of family. In 2015, Rachael started with only herself as owner, operator, and designer. Within recent years she has added Stacey as her floral assistant on bigger projects. Chris; her husband, is her underpaid project manager and creator who has been supportive since the very beginning making sure all background items, rentals, and hardgoods are built and safe to use.
